If your Italo train has not yet departed and is scheduled with a delay exceeding 60 minutes, or if it is cancelled before departure, you can immediately request:

A refund of the ticket price without any deduction for:

The part of the journey not yet taken;
The entire journey if you no longer need to reach your destination. Additionally, in this case, you can request to return to the point of departure as soon as possible with the first available Italo train.

In the case of a Round-trip ticket and if the delay or cancellation affects the outbound journey, you can request a full refund for both journeys or choose to keep the return journey. If the delay exceeds 60 minutes or if the cancellation affects the return journey, you can request a full refund for the return journey only.

Continuation of the journey to the final destination:

As soon as possible with any replacement services that may be available or with the first available Italo train;
Possibly on a later date.

If the circumstances described above occur, namely train cancellation or a departure delay exceeding 60 minutes, you can make your choice by contacting Italo staff at the departure station or by calling Pronto Italo at +39060708 (from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM).
